The E2 Kailua Surfriders earned their way to Saturday’s 2024-2025 Oahu Interscholastic Association Junior Varsity Baseball Championship after defeating W2 Pearl City on Thursday 4-3 at Pearl City High School.
Pearl City’s perfect season and a chance for an OIA Championship was dashed with the semifinal loss to Kailua. The Chargers finished the OIA Western Division I JV regular season at 8-0 while capturing the league championship.
Kailua will take on Thursday’s semifinal winner between E1 Kalani and W2 Mililani on Saturday, January 18. Location TBA.
