Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who were crowned the 2024-25 Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I Junior Varsity Baseball Champions after finishing the regular season 8-0 with a 7-3 win over the visiting Campbell Sabers on Wednesday at Pearl City High School.
Pearl City ace Imipono Kala earned the win in the regular season finale and league clinching championship. Imipono pitched 5 complete innings in the win. Curren Todoroki, Evan Fox, and Cohen Adaro pitched in relief for the Chargers.
The Chargers head off to the 2024-2025 OIA Division I Junior Varsity Baseball Semifinal Championships to be held on Thursday, January 16.
