The Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) received an update with everything you want to know with regard to the status of the new Aloha Stadium development during the club’s weekly lunch meeting held on Friday, November 22 at the Pearl City Shopping Center Conference Room.

The RCOP was truly honored to welcome Chris J. Sadayasu, Deputy Stadium Manager with the Aloha Stadium Authority and Eric Fujimoto, Board Member, Aloha Stadium Authority to speak at the lunch meeting.

Topics of Discussion:

  • New Aloha Stadium Requirements
  • Design and Construction
  • Operations and Maintenance

Procurement Process Agreements

  • Pre-Development Agreement
  • Stadium Development and Operation Agreement
  • Master Development Agreement
  • Form of Ground Lease
  • Shared Infrastructure and Reciprocal Easement Agreement

The RCOP also had an opportunity to engage in a Q&A portion of the lunch meeting that answered many questions, as well as concerns on the new Aloha Stadium development. Questions posed and answered: Impact on surrounding community, benefits to surrounding community that will include Hotels, Retail and Real Estate development, Swap Meet, visitor destination (Arizona Memorial) direct connection to the stadium via the rail line.

We learned that when the new Aloha Stadium opens in 2028, it will seat 25,000 people with most of the stadium featuring bench style seating. That was a surprise.

It was a proud moment for the RCOP to have Eric, who is the RCOP President-Elect (2025-2026) and an award-winning Private Wealth Advisor, Ameriprise Financial Services, LCC speak to our membership, invited guests and supporters.

Mahalo to Chris and Eric for the Aloha Stadium update. The RCOP would like to wish Chris and Eric a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and a Holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
