It’s that time of year when the Pearl City High School Freshman through Senior classes hit the gridiron to practice for the annual Homecoming Powder Puff Flag Football Tournament. I would like to feature the Sophomore team coached by Kyle Martin and Han Nguyen. I joined practice on Wednesday at Pearl City High Schoo to take a few photos and videos.
The Sophomore teammates and coaches were having a lot of fun, but at the same time, they were focused on the tournament ahead that is filled with Charger Pride and bragging rights to capture the Powder Puff championship. The tournament will be played this Friday and will lead into Homecoming week with the Chargers taking on the Moanalua Menehune at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium on Friday, October 4.
