Mahalo to the Pearl City High School Rotary Interact Club who once again volunteered their time with a group of community volunteers from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) on Saturday to help clean-up and beautify Puuloa Springs Garden in Pearl City. Puuloa Springs is located along the Pearl Harbor Bike Path and Pearl Harbor shoreline between Blaisdell Park and the Hawaiian Electric Waiau Power Plant in Pearl City.
PCHS Rotary Interact Club community volunteers were led by their advisor/teacher Dane Souza and former PCHS Rotary Interact Club Vice President Andie Shimizu (PCHS 2024). Puuloa Springs Garden chair Lasar McCabe led RCOP community volunteers and supporters; Dick Mosko, Rick Lau, Randy Ching, Patrick McCabe, Terri and Tim Mehlhorn.
Volunteers worked hard on Saturday laying down weed blocker fabric, trimmed trees, and picked up rubbish along the Pearl Harbor Bike Path and Pearl Harbor shoreline.
Mahalo to everyone for your inspirational efforts to make our environment a better place to live and enjoy via your leadership and commitment to our community.
