Pearl City Elementary School held their annual Jingle Bell Trot on Wednesday on the school campus with grades Pre-K through 6th grade all participating in the fun event right before Christmas vacation which begins on Friday.
Students jogged through 1-4 stations which included basketball hoops and Christmas caroling stations. The students also decorated and wore name plates and bells on their shoes that rang out throughout the Jingle Bell Trot course. Pearl City Elementary student council members also jogged alongside the students to each station.
I had the honor of serving as one of three judges for the Jingle Bell Trot Christmas caroling singing competition where each class chose a classic Christmas song to sing in front of the judges. Each class received scores from 3-1 with 3 being the top score. Thank you to fellow judges Katherine and Angelica and student escort Naomi.
Singing Criteria: Singing together, Volume/Pitch, and Spirit.
Students from each class sang their hearts out and did an excellent job. They truly delivered the Christmas spirit and were all winners.
Thank you to Pearl City Elementary Jingle Bell Trot organizers for inviting me for the second year in a row to serve as a judge while enjoying the students’ Christmas caroling performances.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
