Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who brought home the 2023 Oahu Interscholastic Junior Varsity Football Championship last night with an overwhelming 48-0 championship title win over the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders at Pearl City High School’s Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.
Sophomore QB Ikaika Torres led the explosive Charger offensive that scored 40 of their 48 points in the first half. A tough and relentless Charger defense grounded the Roughrider offense and kept them out of the end zone.
Congratulations to Chargers Head Coach Robin Puuhala and his talented and championship coaching staff and managers for their exceptional efforts guiding and supporting the Chargers throughout the 2023 OIA Championship season!
