Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who picked up their first win of the 2023 OIA Western Division Girls Volleyball regular season last night after defeating the visiting Radford Rams in a 5 set thriller at Pearl City High School.
The Chargers won set 1 and 2 before the Rams came back taking sets 3 and 4 to force a 5th set winner take all. The Chargers overwhelmed the Rams 15-2 in set 5 to take the match.
Pearl City improved to 1-2 while Radford fell to 0-2.
The Chargers return to league play on Monday, September 25 against the Leilehua Mules at Leilehua High School at 7:00pm
