“Bon Dance (one night only) August 12, 2023. Food booth opens at 5:30pm. Dancing begins at 7pm. We are a Hongwanji Buddhist temple also known as a Jodo-Shinsu temple. There are many different “variations” within the Buddhist religion. We are one of the many. Please visit us to discover what our beliefs/practices are. To get you started. 2 of our basic practices are: 1. We do not practice petitionary prayer. 2. We do not practice superstitious beliefs.”
