Congratulations to newly crowned 2023 HHSAA State Judo Girls Individual Champions Chloe Obuhanych (103 lbs.) and Destiny Mcswain (129 lbs.) Chloe and Destiny led an outstanding team of Pearl City Chargers who finished second in team standings to champion Moanalua High School at yesterday’s 2023 HHSAA State Individual & Team Judo Championships held at Stan Sheriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawaii.
Chloe won her championship individual state title by defeating Waiakea High School’s Shaniah-Lee Ferreira (Ippon 2:51). Destiny was crowned individual state champion by defeating Campbell High School’s Emma Rosales (Ippon :38).
