PCHS Leo’s lead the way in Charger Pride purple bench painting project

Mahalo to Pearl City High School Student Activities Coordinator Kyle Miyashiro and PCHS Leo Club students who welcomed community volunteers Saturday morning to participate in the school’s bench painting project on the school grounds.

Community volunteers representing the Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club, PCHS, Representative Gregg Takayama, Senator Bennette Misalucha, Pearl City Neighborhood Board Chairman Larry Veray and other community volunteers teamed up with the Leo Club students in 5 groups to tackle and complete the bench painting project.

Mary Villamil and I teamed up with two Leo’s to paint the benches at the KLM bus stop. We were later joined by other community volunteers.

Mahalo to Kyle Miyashiro and Pearl City High School for providing paint, paint brushes and rollers. We had a lot of fun and were grateful for the opportunity to put on a fresh coat of “Chargers Pride” purple paint on the benches while beautifying the campus.

Mahalo to all the amazing and dedicated community volunteers for their support of Pearl City High School.

GO CHARGERS!
