Volunteers from the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce and a group of visitors from JCI Japan Sister Chapters, teamed up with Highlands Intermediate School students, volunteers and Pearl City Boy Scout Troop 75 to beautify the Highlands Intermediate campus as a part of “Adopt A School Day” on Saturday, April 14.
Volunteers cleaned classrooms, painted walls, stairwell steps, and benches throughout the campus.
Eagle Scout candidate Cody Tamaye and his fellow Boy Scouts and Leaders from Pearl City Troop 75 volunteered their time on Saturday to stencil words of inspiration and encouragement on the Highlands Intermediate stairwell steps,
