Daughters of the American Revolution, Aloha Chapter, recently gave an award for “Outstanding Teacher of American History” to Travis Armstrong, an 8^th grade teacher at Highlands Intermediate School. The award was presented to Mr. Armstrong at the DAR annual banquet held on March 11, 2017. In addition to a certificate and plaque, Mr. Armstrong was awarded $150 from the Aloha Chapter and $100 from the state DAR organization.
