The Lady Chargers pitching combination of Tyanna Peanut Butter Kaaialii and Kristin Frost no-hit the visiting Mililani Lady Trojans in a 2-1 victory on Tuesday. The Lady Chargers (9-3-1) and Lady Trojans (10-2-1) played an 'IF" game to determine the order of seeding for the upcoming OIA Division I Softball Championship Tournament.
The Lady Chargers victory over Mililani earned them the West #3 seed and will face East #6 seed McKinley on Tuesday, May 5 at home in the first round of the OIA Championship Tournament.
On Tuesday, Kaaialii earned the win allowing no runs on no hits with three strikeouts and two walks in four complete innings.
Frost picked up the save in three innings of work. Frost allowed one run on no hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
Taylyn Kimura batted 2-2 with a RBI and run scored. Hope Casarez batted 1-1 with a 2B, and a run scored. Natalie Kang picked up a RBI.
