Last week was one for the record books for Pearl City High School Varsity Athletics as the boys and girls Bowling teams captured the OIA Western Division Team and Individual Varsity Bowling Championships on Thursday followed by the Air Riflery teams winning the OIA Team and Individual Air Riflery Championships on Saturday.
The Chargers head off to the OIA Varsity Bowling Championships scheduled for this Thursday, October 18 at the Schofield Bowling Center in Wahiawa. The boys and girls teams are defending OIA champions with boys going for third title in a row and the girls looking for back -to-back OIA championship titles.

Air Riflery
The boys and girls Pearl City Chargers Air Riflery teams continued their dominance in OIA Team and Individual Air Riflery Championship competition on Saturday, October 12 at the Pearl City High School shooting range as the boys earned their third OIA team championship in a row along with the girls who successfully defended their 2011 title with a 2012 OIA team championship win.
Next up for the Chargers is the HHSAA State Air Riflery Championships to be held at Kamehameha Schools on the Big Island on Tuesday, October 30.
