An 8:30pm power outage knocked out service to Hawaiian Electric customers Monday night in Pearl City and Waiau. HECO reported about 900 customers were affected by the outage.
HECO work crews could be seen troubleshooting the affected areas along Noelani Street in Waiau through the intersection of Noelani Street and Hoomalu Street.
Power was restored to those areas at around 11:15pm.
