CTAP holds year end sign waving event in Pearl City

Dec 16, 2011 | PC Community

The Community Traffic Awareness Program (CTAP) conducted its final sign waving event for 2011 on Thursday, December 8th at the corner of Hoomalu and Hookanike Streets in Pearl City.

Community volunteers along with HPD Officers lined the intersection holding signs reminding motorist to slow down and drive safely through the area.

With the Christmas and New Year's Holiday season upon us, CTAP organizers and volunteers felt the need to hold one last sign waving event before the end of the year to bring attention to the importance of driving safely, especially through the busy holiday season.

CTAP organizers from the office of State Representative K. Mark Takai has tentatively announced sign waving events at the intersection of Hoomalu and Hookanike Streets for Tuesday, January 31, 2012 and Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

The CTAP area project is in collaboration with HPD and led by State Representative K. Mark Takai.
