When it comes to celebrating Halloween night in Pearl City, the traditional practice of going door to door for treats has fizzled a bit along with the crowds that used to fill our neighborhood streets.
After attending Monday night's Pearl City Foundation Annual Halloween Bash at the Momilani Community Center (MCC), it was obvious where all the Trick-or-Treater's have gone. Hundreds packed the MCC pavilion and grounds for a safe night of Trick-or-Treat fun.
Pearl City residents and their families were treated to Trick-or-Treat candy booths, game booths and chance to enter the PCF annual costume contest. They also had an opportunity to dine at the Halloween Bash food booth, manned by community volunteers, that offered delicious chicken and chili plates, hot dogs and dessert.
The Pearl City Foundation along with the Pearl City Community Association, community sponsors and volunteers from other community groups all came together, once again, for a terrific night of fun and community bonding amongst neighbors.
