Hawaiian Electric volunteers partnered with Hawaii 3R’s to plant a playground at Pearl City Highlands Elementary School on Saturday, February 7, 2016.

Over 100 volunteers cut and planted sod over a 5000 square foot area to create a playground for the Pearl City Highlands Elementary students to play on within a few months.

Hawaiian Electric is also providing funds in support of landscaping work and an irrigation system.
