Waipio powered past Pearl City 10-2 in the opening round of the Hawaii State Little League 10 & 11 Double Elimination Championship Tournament played on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Keolu Elementary School in Kailua.

Waipio moves on to play tournament host Kailua on Saturday, June 27 at 10:00am. Pearl City dropped into the loser’s bracket and will play the loser of Friday’s Ewa Beach vs. Kawaihau on Saturday, June 27 at 4:00pm.

Waipio’s Dacoda Agoto and Pearl City’s Ryan Murao both homered in the game.
