Bernal leads Pearl City at the plate in Chargers 6-3 win over Castle in first round of 2025 OIA DI Baseball Playoffs

Pearl City’s Noah Bernal upped his Oahu Interscholastic Association league leading homerun totals after blasting his third homerun of the regular and post season during the W3 Chargers 6-3 OIA Division I Baseball Championship Playoffs First Round win over the visiting E6 Castle Knights on Wednesday at Pearl City High School.

Bernal batted 2-3 with 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and a HR.

Pearl City’s Talon Paahao earned the win for the Chargers in relief of starting pitcher Jase Loreno. Cavan Sekigawa and Kalen Kao also pitched in relief for the Chargers.

Castle’s Nixon Murphy took the loss for the Knights. Kaeden Pilanca pitched in relief for the Knights.

Next Up:

The Chargers will travel to Kailua High School on Thursday to take on the E2 Surfriders in a Quarterfinal match-up scheduled for 3:00pm.
