Mahalo to everyone who made Saturday’s 4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt at the Momilani Community Center a tremendous success and a lot of fun for keiki and their ohana from Pearl City and across Oahu.
This year, six hundred keiki pre-registered to participate in the 4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt. Keiki participants had the opportunity to hunt for 10 Easter Eggs each that were spread out in the Momilani Community Center special purpose room. There were 10 time slots of 60 keiki ages 0-11 years old. Each time slot had two very special Golden Egg Prizes hiding amongst hundreds of plastic Easter Eggs. Each Easter Egg collected was redeemed for fun prizes provided by our sponsors and donors. The Golden Egg winners traded in their Golden Eggs for fantastic prizes, once again provided by our sponsors and donors.
There was also a big wheel that the keiki got to spin and a chance to win amazing prizes from our generous prize sponsors and donors.
4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt presenters and co-chairs Barry Villamil (MyPearlCity.com) and Naomi Tully-Ungacta (Pearl City Foundation) would like to send out our deepest appreciation for the opportunity to present the 4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt along with the generous support and partnership of title sponsor Hawaiian Electric Company and dozens of sponsors and donors.

A very special mahalo to our 4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt emcee Terry Visperas. Terry once again kept the event flowing and entertaining and he is a true professional with his iconic voice and friendly personality.
Terry is also a proud graduate of Pearl City High School. We truly appreciate Terry for his commitment to the Pearl City community as he also serves ss an emcee for the Annual Pearl City Foundation Halloween Bash and the Annual Pearl City Shopping Center Christmas Parade.
Terry is amazing and extremely talented and very busy as he followed our event by welcoming UH Rainbow Warrior Volleyball fans as the voice of Rainbow Warrior special events at Stan Sheriff Center Saturday night. Terry’s voice enhanced the excitement of the crowd in last night’s 5 set thrilling victory over #1 Long Beach State. Awesome win!
We were also fortunate to have area elected officials Senator Brandon Elefante, Senator Henry Aquino, Representative Cory Chun, and Representative Sam Kong attend our event.
Mahalo to Representative Chun who volunteered his time to help out during the Easter Egg Hunt with Pearl City High School volunteers in the Momilani Community Center special purpose room as the keiki collected their eggs.
Also, mahalo to Representative Kong who volunteered his time, along with fellow volunteers from the Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Club.
I am truly blessed for the opportunity to support our community along with Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt co-chair Naomi Tully-Ungacta. Together, we have dedicated our hearts to serving thousands of our keiki and their ohana with events that brings our Pearl City community together, as well as visitors to our community who become instant friends and return each year to our community to participate and enjoy community events that we dedicate our time to make a reality for all.
A very special mahalo to the Pearl City Foundation Team:
Misa, Kevin, Cliff, Darcey, and PCF supporters
I would like to send a special mahalo to a couple groups of volunteers that helped out on Saturday at the 4th Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt. They both make a huge and impactful difference in our Pearl City community and beyond. This past Saturday was another opportunity for them to give back to the community with their Aloha for others.
Pearl City High School Interact Club
As the Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) Youth Leadership Interact Director, I have an amazing opportunity, along with my RCOP team, to support the Pearl City High School Interact Club via annual mentorships, financial support, and a thriving community volunteer partnership. The RCOP is so proud of the award winning PCHS Interact Club students who always lead by example at school and in the community.
Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Club
As a proud member of the Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Club, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside an extremely dedicated and committed group of Lions that put the welfare of the community first by volunteering their time in communities across Oahu on most Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
Wishing you and your ohana a very special and Happy Easter!
