Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who picked up their first win of the regular season in a 5-set thriller 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 18-25, 16-14 over the visiting Kapolei Hurricanes on Tuesday at Pearl City High School.
Pearl City improved to 1-2 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Boys Volleyball regular season standings, while Kapolei remains winless at 0-3 in regular season standings.
Josiah Talamoa led the Chargers in scoring with 18 kills and 1 ace. Reven Otsuka scored 15 kills with 1 ace for the Chargers.
