The Campbell Sabers defeated the visiting Pearl City Chargers 6-1 on Saturday to improve to 2-0 in OIA Western Division Baseball league standings while the Chargers remain winless at 0-2.
Colten Silva picked up the win for the Sabers. Silva also batted 1-3 with 1 run scored.
Talon Paahao took the loss for Chargers.
Campbell shut down Pearl City after the Chargers took their only lead of the ball game at 1-0 in the top of the first inning. The Sabers scored in innings 2,3,4,5,6 to cruise to their 6-1 victory over the Chargers.
