By Barry Villamil, President, Rotary Club of Pearlridge
Mahalo to Hawaii Rotary District 5000 Oahu Central Assistant Governor Paul Nakachi for hosting Oahu Central Presidents this morning for a meet and greet breakfast at Liliha Bakery in Pearl City. It was a great opportunity for Presidents to learn about upcoming community projects, events, and fundraisers on the Oahu Central club calendars for 2024-2025. It was also an opportunity to share ideas and possibly volunteer together in the community with regard to projects, events, and fundraisers.
AG Nakachi also gave Oahu Central Presidents in attendance an overview of upcoming events and important meeting topics and dates which included club visits by District Governor Ted Faigle in September and October 2024. We experienced a very productive breakfast meeting filled with incredible synergy while instantly bonding Oahu Central Presidents and our vision to perpetuate our successes while building the future together as Rotarians.
We missed Marie Abatayo, President, Rotary Club of Wahiawa, Waialua who was not able to attend this morning’s breakfast, but look forward to meeting her in our next scheduled Presidents meeting.
Mahalo once again to Oahu Central AG Paul Nakachi, (Rotary Club of Mililani Sunrise); and Tina Doty (President, Rotary Club of Pearl Harbor); Wendell Nekota (Rotary Club of Mililani Sunrise); Emilie Smith (Rotary Club of Hickam Perl Harbor.
