Pearl City High School Rotary Interact Club 2023-2024 Vice President Andie Shimizu was chosen as the 2023-2024 recipient of the annual Rotary Club of Pearlridge Foundation $4000.00 Scholarship Award. Shimizu is a Pearl City High School 2024 graduate and will be attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Fall 2024. She was selected by the Rotary Club of Pearlridge Foundation Scholarship Award committee led by committee chair Andrew Muccio and committee members Dick Mosko and Eric Fujimoto.
The Rotary Club of Pearlridge Foundation $4000.00 Scholarship Award is offered annually to seniors who applied for the scholarship in both the Pearl City and Aiea communities. The application process begins in April of each year with the recipient announced in June.
Shimizu will be recognized and receive her Rotary Club of Pearlridge Foundation $4000.00 Scholarship Award scholarship in a very special awards ceremony on Friday, July 26. 2024 during the Rotary Club of Pearlridge weekly lunch meeting held at the Pearl City Shopping Center conference room.
