Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who defeated the visiting Waialua Bulldogs 52-20 last night in their OIA Western Division Girls Varsity Basketball regular season opener played at Pearl City High School.
Pearl City’s #20 Shilee Scanlan (9 points, 1-3PM) and #2 Alisha Deweever (9 points) led the Chargers in scoring.
Waialua’s #5 Alexis Quick led all scorers with 12 points which included 3-3PM and a perfect 3-3 from the free throw line.
Pearl City is 1-0, regular season, and 4-1 overall.
Waialua is 0-1, regular season and 0-2 overall.
