Mahalo to Pearl City keiki and their ohana for joining their neighbors and friends for a fun and exciting time on Saturday at the annual Pearl City Shopping Center Halloween Costume Contest and Trick or Parade hosted by Chuck E. Cheese. This year’s Halloween Costume Contest once again awarded prizes for winners sponsored by the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association in the following categories and age brackets:

Most Original, Scariest, Best Parent & Child, Best Movie Theme
Age Brackets
5 & Under, 6-8 yrs., 9-12 yrs.
Winners received Pearl City Shopping Center cash awards and Chuck E. Cheese prize packs. Stevo the Clown crafted free, original balloon creations for all participants and their ohana. Stevo the Clown also led the annual Trick or Treat Parade following the Halloween Costume Contest. Treat or Treaters paraded around the Pearl City Shopping Center while participating Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants filled their Trick or Treat bags with goodies.

Chuck E. Cheese Assistant Manager Trina Hashimoto and her amazing staff for welcoming everyone with open arms and providing a fun and memorable experience in the spirit of Halloween, along with great prizes, pizza specials, and amazing game center entertainment.
Pearl City High School Rotary Interact Club, who once again, did an outstanding job volunteering their time in the community to serve as costume contest judges while sharing their wonderful, friendly and spirited personalities with each costume contest participant and their ohana.

A very special mahal to Pearl City Shopping Center owner Duane Kurisu for his annual, generous support of the Pearl City community.
