Charger wide receiver Lennon Elder earned MYPC Charger of the Week honors after his inspiring and game winning performance in Friday’s OIA regular season finale 26-21 win over the visiting Kalani Falcons at Pearl City High School’s Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.
Lennon caught 6 passes for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns in the ball game. The star junior wide receiver also scored the game winning touchdown on a late fourth quarter 9-yard touchdown pass from QB Trey Dacoscos that put the Chargers up over the Falcons 26-21 after a successful Kaha’i Chang PAT.
Lennon is part of very talented, and outstanding Chargers receiver corps behind the arm of QB Trey Dacoscos that has led a potent Pearl City offensive attack through the air and contributed to an undefeated 7-0 (league) and 8-0 (overall) perfect season along with the #1 seed in the upcoming OIA DII Championship Playoffs.
