Pearl City improved to 4-2 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Junior Varsity Baseball with a 3-2 win on Friday over the visiting Kapolei Hurricanes.
Pearl City broke a 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning on an RBI single by Ethan Higashionna scoring Logan Honma from third base with the winning run.
Higashionna and Honma also hooked up in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie on a RBI single by Higashionna that scored Honma to put the Chargers up 2-1.
Honma also took care of business from the mound in relief of starter Jamie Castro to earn the win.
