The Pearl City Chargers continued on their winning ways last night in OIA Western Division Boys Volleyball with a 3-1 victory over the visiting Aiea Na Ali’i in front of an enthusiastic Charger fan base that cheered them on to victory. The Chargers won 25-14, 25-3, 22-25, 25-13.
Keahi Kaneakua led the Chargers with 12 kills, 2 aces, 8 digs, 8 assists, and 1 block. Fati Seei-Tofi had 11kills, Tylus Williams recorded 25 digs and Christian Ronquilio finished with 6 kills, 6 blocks, and 33 assists.
Pearl City improved to 6-2 in league standings while Aiea fell to 3-5.
Aiea defeated Pearl City in the Junior Varsity match in 3 sets; 21-17, 15-21, 15-9
The Chargers return to action on Monday, April 11 against Radford at Radford High School with the Junior Varsity at 5:00pm and Varsity to follow.
The Chargers will finish up the regular season on Senior Night, Wednesday, April 13 against Waianae at Pearl City High School. Junior Varsity at 5:00pm and Varsity to follow.
