Pearlridge Rotarians to wrap up “Good Citizen Award” presentations on June 6

The Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) is all set to present the final Good Citizen Award of the 2016-2017 school year next week at St. Elizabeth School in Aiea.

RCOP community volunteers delivered free dictionaries to third graders and their teachers representing 12 Pearl City and Aiea elementary schools in the beginning of the school year. The dictionary donations were a part of Rotary International's Dictionary 5000 Project. One student from each school was chosen by their teachers to receive a Good Citizen Award which included a $50.00 check. The award winning student's best exemplified the principles of the Four Way Test.

"Four Way Test"

1.  Is it the truth;
2.  Is it fair to all concerned,
3.  Will it bring good will and better friendships,
4.  Will it be beneficial to all concerned.

Congratulations to all the students!
