The Pearl City Lions Club held their annual Valentines Breakfast Fundraiser event on Saturday, February 8 inside the Pearl City High School Cafeteria. Hundreds of residents and their ohana dined in or took advantage of the drive thru service to pick up their breakfast feasts that included: Scrambled Eggs, Portuguese Sausage, Rice, Corn Bread, Fruit, Juice, Coffee and Water.
Saturday's Valentines Breakfast Fundraiser also featured a country store filled with your favorite local snacks and baked goods, as well as a garden of beautiful orchids, plants, and flowers that were on display, and for sale to the public (just in time for Valentine’s Day).
The Pearl City High School Robotics Team was also on hand to demonstrate their latest robots and to give anyone interested a chance to operate the robots while completing certain robotic tasks and maneuvers.
Pearl City Lions Club community volunteers also manned an eyeglass recycling station located inside the cafeteria. Eyeglasses that are collected are redistributed to the needy here in Hawaii and around the world.
Proceeds from the annual fundraiser supports our Pearl City schools and community.
