In celebration of National Car Care Month in April, Flagship Fastlube is hosting a free Car Care Clinic at their new Pearl City location on Friday, April 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Attendees will get practical advice from ASE/AOCA certified technicians on the basics of maintaining their cars with helpful tips like; how to check their vehicles’ oil and fluid levels, checking for correct tire inflation and wear and how to do a proper full-vehicle walk around.

This informative session is designed to save the car owner time, money and the stress of expensive car repairs. It’s great for first-time drivers or owners, the spouse who now finds them self responsible for the maintenance of the family car, or someone just interested in a refresher on current car care standards.

The clinic is open to the public, but space is limited. Attendees should register at FreeCarClinic.eventbrite.com to reserve a spot.

In addition to the one-night clinic, Flagship FastLube is also offering free car care check-ups for the entire month of April at all of its six Oahu locations at Kapolei, Royal Kunia, Waipio, Wahiawa, Aiea and the new Pearl City store.

Stop by and let the professional technicians identify opportunities for you to improve your vehicle's gas mileage, enhance performance, increase safety and reduce emissions.

The inspections include checking fluid levels, tires, lights and other system components. After the inspection is completed, volunteers review any discrepancies with the motorist and provide information about proper vehicle maintenance and repair. The goal of events like these is to help motorists learn how to "Be Car Care Aware."

National Car Care Month is a nationwide effort to focus motorists’ attention on the importance of vehicle care and maintenance. For more information about this event, or Flagship Fastlube's network of locally owned and operated automotive service centers, visit flagshiphawaii.com.
