Pearl City swept Castle 25-13, 25-19 in the OIA Red Division Varsity Boys Volleyball Championship Playoffs played at Kaimuki High School on Tuesday.
Pearl City (10-3) stayed alive in the double elimination formatted championship tournament with the win over Castle. The Chargers are working their way through the losers bracket and will face Waipahu (8-6) tomorrow at McKinley High School. Waipahu lost to Moanalua on Tuesday 3-0 at Moanalua High School.
The Pearl City vs. Waipahu match up will follow Mililani vs. Leilehua which begins at 5:00pm at McKinley High School.
