The Pearl City community made their way on Friday to the re-grand opening of the Momilani Farmers Market at the Momilani Community Center which is located in the heart of Pearl City at the corner of Hoomoana Street and Komo Mai Drive.
Over cast skies and light sprinkles kept some residents away but for those who attended the re-grand opening it was a terrific opportunity to mingle with their neighbors, shop for goodies, grab dinner and enjoy watching the keiki play in the inflatable play houses.
"This is great adding to the function here and having these activities for the kids," said Pearl City Foundation Executive Director Breene Harimoto. "The families are really enjoying themselves. Hopefully next week we'll have the Tumble Bus and Bingo. Every week we'll have something new."
Something new that has already become a hit at the Momilani Farmers Market is the implementation of a designated field parking area on the Momilani Community Center grounds that allows Farmers Market guests a safe and convenient area to park.
Congratulations to the Pearl City Foundation / Momilani Community Center management and staff who have stepped up to bring the Momilani Farmers Market operation under their wings while providing a first class venue for residents and their families to enjoy as well as contribute to the success of their Pearl City community.
Great job! Hope to see you at next Friday's Momilani Farmers Market!

Momilani Farmers Market parking attendants did a great job keeping the traffic running smoothly in and out of the newly incorporated field parking for guests and their families.
