Their legacy has just about been written. Seven seniors from the class of the 2011 Chargers baseball team will go down as being a part of one the most successful sports teams in the history of the Pearl City High School Athletics Program.They all have Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Red Division Baseball Championship titles notched into their belts.
On Thursday, they will try add another notch as they defend their 2010 OIA Championship title in the quarterfinals of the OIA Red Division Championship Tournament. The Chargers will face the winner of the Aiea/Roosevelt first round game at Pearl City High School at 3:30pm.
The senior Chargers played in their last regular season home game on Saturday with a 12-3 win over Aiea.
All seven seniors define the meaning of " A Heart of a Champion" and will forever be remembered for their success and contributions to the Charger Pride legacy.
