Kristin Frost struck out 11 while Hailey-Alexis Yamaguchi batted 1-3 with 2 RBI to lead Pearl City over Waianae 2-1 in OIA Western Division I varsity softball played at Waianae High School on Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Frost tossed a complete game allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 11 strikeouts and no walks.

Waianae’s Bailey Pittman took the loss for the Lady Seariders. Pittman went the distance allowing 2 runs on 7 hits with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in 7 innings.

Hailey-Alexis Yamaguchi drove in the Lady Chargers runs with a two out double in the top of the fourth inning that scored Natalie Kang from third and Kylie Tasaki from second.

Waianae’s Mahina Chong hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Lady Seariders only run of the ball game.

Pearl City improved to 3-2 while Waianae fell to 1-4.
