Pearl City defeated Kawaihau 12-4 on Sunday, July 3, 2016 to advance to the Hawaii Little League 50/70 State Championship game against Maui on Monday, July 4, 2016 at Pride Field in Kapolei

Alijah Bala earned the win for Pearl City. Pinemua Epenesa hit a triple, double with 3 RBI. Josiah Locquiao stroked a 2 run in-the-park homerun.

Pearl City vs. Maui first pitch is scheduled for 10:00am. If Maui wins, they will be crowned state champions,. If Pearl City wins, they will force a winner-take-all championship game to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
