Pearl City eliminated Waialua 6-2 on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from the Hawaii Little League District 7 Juniors Championship Tournament played at Pride Field in Kapolei.

Pearl City (1-1) moves on in the double elimination championship tournament and will face Ewa Beach (1-1) on Sunday, June 26 as both teams battle their way out of the loser’s bracket for a chance to face MKH for the tournament championship title. MKH (2-0) defeated Ewa Beach 6-5 on Saturday to advance to the championship game scheduled for Monday, June 27 at Pride Field.

The winner between Pearl City and Ewa Beach will be tasked to beat MKH twice to win the championship and advance to the state championship tournament scheduled for July 14 – July 19 on the Big Island.
